Vitamin C SR 500mg Shaklee.

As-salam =)

  • Merawat jangkitan saluran kencing.

First impression.

As-salam =)

It's not like 'the first impression' is everything, but first impression may help us in gaining others respect. Believe me, when I first someone, I'll first look at how he/she dresses. No need to spend a fortune on a piece of cloth. The key is to be neat, and finish it off with 'confident'. And confident can be gain by straighten up your posture, walk straight, have an eye contact with people and don't even forget to smile. Easy right? Oh, and make-up skills are not included, okay?

Teaching, is a profession with personalities. Teachers gain respect by how he/she's doing the works, how he/she taking care of oneself and by how he/she mix around. My tips are not based on action research, or something. Just using my own logical thinking, based on my life's experiences.

I had repaired most of my mistakes from time to time. For example, I don't mix just enough with the teachers on my first phase of practicum. So, I cover it up by joining more on my second phase of practicum. That's how I learn. We get things right inch by inch. We won't succeed on the first try, okay? There're still something that need to be top-up. Do things slow, just don't loose the tempo, or might have to struggle more later. Honest.

Don't be too excited about being the best among the rest. Do something with Lillahi Taala. Insha Allah. He will always be there for us. He knew us better than we knew our self. Like, pray to Him more frequently. Whenever we have a free time, don't forget to do solat Dhuha. No need to put on just 'too much make-up' just to impress people. People will not judge you on how well you blend your make-up. In the end, it's always performance that people want to see and to judge you with.

So, let's use this one last day like there's no tomorrow. Make sure everything in order and packed before you go to sleep tonight. Remember, first impression is what things are about! You'll be motivated later. Oh, and don't forget to call up parents for their blessing and prays. Also important, y'all!

Insha Allah. This is our final phase, so let's do our best! Reach for the extended.

A part of my holiday.

As-salam =)

It's not really a vacation if you don't have everyone you care about, right? A part of my holiday, mine were just another typical holiday. Nothing much, except for the spending time and the relax part. I am actually at KL, visiting the pregnant sister and attending a orthopedic's appointment, which is today. I really missed my braces, like a lot! I missed of being thin and lack of appetite. LOL! Propa sangat kan? But then, braces really do help me control the weight when I was in secondary school.

The doctor checked the teeth and hand-over a retainer to me, for the lower part of my teeth. It was a bit hard to put it in and really fix it with my teeth. He pushed it real hard that he sort of 'pinch' the lips. Ouch! My retainer has to be on 24/7, so no special free retainer's case for me. I bought my own case later when I was at OU this evening, having lunch at Seoul Garden with the family. Pregnant young mom's treat! I like it ^ ^ It was fun spending the rest of your day at the mall where you rarely go. Happy but a bit tired. I even begged for water. Had to spend MYR 2 for the 600ml Dasani drinking water. It's like they packed a miracle water in there or something? Aiisshhh! I bought nothing much compared to the rest of them. Just a new beg and some few cheap stuffs. Woohoo! Best2!

Oke, let me treat you with the retainer. Sort of like this. Not my retainer. I am wearing this beauty-is-pain right now, while blogging this.

Mine minus the stripes. I got some clear sprinkle all over it. Just plain.
The “Traditional” Hawley retainer is made of rigid acrylic and wire. The acrylic rests on the roof of the mouth or under the tongue while the wire wraps around the teeth to hold them in proper alignment. Hawley retainers are best utilized in cases where teeth have been extracted and the space needs to be held closed, or when teeth are missing and the space must be kept open for future restorative work.

Retainer is used to fix the targeted teeth. In my case, my four bottom teeth are a mess. HAHA. So, since the family decided to go on braces and retainer, I just join the club. Even the mother and preggy young mother wear a retainer. Just a different one ^ ^ I had a difficult time adjusting my talk, how to hold the tongue. A bit uncomfortable. My lips chapped a bit. But, I'll get used to it soon enough.

Oke, below are types of retiner I've been using. Some, I did a simple research for readers extra information.

My previous retainer.
The invisible retainers are made of a clear plastic material that has been heated and molded over your teeth on the molds taken after the braces have been removed. These can also be used for whitening trays.

I have this on my upper teeth. A PERMANENT RETAINER.
The bonded “permanent” retainer can be used on one or both arches. It is most generally bonded to the tongue side of the front teeth. This type of retainer is especially helpful in a case of severely crooked or crowded teeth, or to keep large gaps from opening back up.

For those who are interested, you can get yours at the nearest and trusted dental care for only MYR 2000. WHAT-A-cost, right?

My short cut tips: MARRY YOURSELF A SOLDIER TO GET BRACES FOR FREE! ^ ^ *wink*

Sick Balloon Molly, Vanilin

As-salam

I feel terrible about my sick Vanilin, my balloon molly. Isshh! I felt guilty about what happened. Now I realize that having pet is not only fun, but means more responsibility. My sister told me about the sick fish, but I thought it was a normal thing for fish to have, that I don't pay much atention about it - I don't even go check on the fish. But today, as I was checking the tank and cleaning it, I notice the eyes really pop-out, like swollen or something with this grey and slimy fluid on it. As I feed him, he don't even notice the food. He swallows whatever in front if him only, and tend to eat less - I noticed.

I went out to nearest fish shop and asked them about this. They suggested to treat Vanilin with water solution. I don't know if this will works, but tawakal is better than doing nothing watch him to die, right? From the quick research I made, the disease called, pop-eyed. It is due to poor water quality, imbalance gas in aquarium or maybe from the fish itself.

For the poor water quality, it's advise to use 'clorine rinse'. It's cheap, just MYR1+ only per bottle. Only few drops needed of 2' aquarium. It lasts longer, too. Imbalance gas is due to the imbalance pressure inside and out of the aqaurium. Okay, new tips for fish breaders (all types)! Make sure you wait for few minutes after pouring needed water (the right amount and level of water) into the aquarium. I quote this from a website,

"Water in a newly filled tank will be supersaturated with gases and you will see the gas bubbles covering the inside of the tank. The more that the water is agitated as you are pouring it in for the first time, the less supersaturation you will have. Agitation of water releases gas from it. Normal aeration will speed up the time that it takes for this excess gas to leave the water. When the bubbles on the tank disappear, then it is safe to put your fish into the new water".

If you really love and serious to take care of fishes, make sure you do this, okay? For myself, I admit that I am too lazy to spend too much time waiting for the water to be mix with the anti-chlorine. Sometimes, I place the fishes first, then drop the anti-chlorine right on them and mix. Not going to happen again, promise!

For more information, kindy click on the link herehere and here about the swollen eyes. Alert! This might be happening to betta fish and guppies as well, and other tropical fishes.

My advise is, to always do research about your pet fish/s (if you do care!)

Notice his swollen eyes? Not yet?

Close-up. He looks like an alien!

I bought this. The white one is the food , named 'weekend block'

Simple Aquaria.

Will get extra vitamin and health care for my fishes. I am too scared for the loss. I might blame myself for everything. Sigh! Oh, and Vanilin will go on the trip to KL with me. I am taking him along, leaving other fishes behind with the help of electric water filter and food block (sort of an auto feeder).

Will update soon about Vanilin's health. My friend once said, "fishes are like babies! you need to fully take care of them". Now I believe you, Plain Jane! ^ ^

Tend to lose another along the long road.

As-salam

"To be one superb human, the is price to pay. And, it's priceless
- a debt of a lifetime" -

so,

"In order to grab one opportunity, we must ready to let go others"

I always think it this way.

If I am too busy chasing glory, I may lost the opportunity to see the child of mine growing up. I am afraid of missed the chance to see the growing up part, which is priceless.

OR, if I am too busy bringing up my own family, I am afraid of loosing sight to my original family. Once one dead, there's no another chance to see that person again.

The key is, TO ALWAYS BE MODERATE!

Don't chase too hard. Once the chance is yours, it will be yours. Kun faya kun.

InsyaAllah =)

Hostel OR, Rumah sewa?

As-salam =)

This coming semester will be the most challenging semester of all. I, for some reason got kick-off the hostel. Hehe, not kick-off, silly. Just, it's a tradition for seniors semester 6 to be 'kick-off'. Plus, with all the silly rules, it's better if we had our butt moved. But, everything has it pros and contrasts, right? So, since today is a not-doing-anything-day, I decided to list it all.

Here are the Pros of staying in the Hostel.
  1. Safer
  2. Cheaper
  3. More privacy
  4. Easy to go to class
  5. No transportation needed
  6. Lots of friend

And, here are the Pros of staying at the Rumah Sewa.
  1. Rules free
  2. Free to do own things
(I can only list two things here!)

Okay, I am about to go to the contrast now. Start off with, Contrast of staying in the Hostel.
  1. Doesn't have the chance to go overnight (Hard to do so!)
  2. Have to go with the rules
  3. A warden to be taken care of (Silly!)

Contrast of staying at the Rumah Sewa
  1. High tendency of fighting and the sour-face
  2. Have to consider others - housemate and roommate
  3. Not so safe
  4. Not enough money to pay the rent for the next coming month
  5. Expanses of the transportation increases
  6. Have to wake up early to go to class
  7. Less privacy

It is obvious now that staying in the Hostel has so much to offer, rather than the Rumah sewa. My personal opinion regarding the matter,

"Staying outside will teach us a lot of thing about life. It is to know a person a little deeper than ever. And, staying out really mean, you have to be much more considered about a lot of things, including the privacy part. Learn to give than to take".

Kenapa nak single?

As-salam =)

Today's topic on Manisnya Madu is very interesting. Well, actually it was not my intention to watch the program, but the mother insisted me to go online to have a look. She wanted to copy the Surah given by Ustazah Siti Nor Bahiyah about finding the soul mate. Later, I'll share the Surah, okay?

There is a caller, aged 19. He called to ask the panel about 'Why parents does not want the kids to have an early marriage?'. The answer is very simple, 'Are you ready to get married?' and 'How ready are you'?. By ready, it really means, TRULY READY!

1. FINANCIALLY

2. EMOTIONALLY

3. EDUCATIONALLY

HOW READY ARE YOU?

Here is the Surah, shared by Ustazah Siti Nor Bahiyah on the TV just now.

  1. Surah Yusof, Ayat 4 - Amalan selepas solat 5 waktu
  2. Surah Al-Qausar, Ayat 24 - Untuk hajat dan permintaan
  3. Surah Yunus, Ayat 81 - Elak sihir yang menghalang jodoh

To see in other perspectives - I AM LIMITED EDITION!

As-salam =)

I tend to see how others treat me as threat. Not everybody, just somebody. I take it too seriously that sometimes I begin to stress myself out - like working harder, rest shorter. As I woke up today, I suddenly start to view things in other perspectives, the perspective I never thought of. I put myself with others place to rationally think about WHY? they start to treat me that way.

And I found one reasonable answer. Answer to all my doubtfulness all these years. Only one answer valid this question. And it is,

"I AM GOOD" -

I used to think myself as a failed person in every categories; as students, daughter and woman. I view myself as a person with lack of personalities with many weaknesses. I do not know my own strength, really. But, since some of that somebody start to ditch me and play rough on me, it lends me to this one critical thinking.

WHY?

"BECAUSE I AM GOOD!" Like this incident where one of the teacher file a complain about me. I wonder what my teaching had to do with him that he filed up a complain? Then, I realize that he somehow threatens by me.  Really! I was told about his ambition and aim to be 'Guru Cemerlang'. Maybe he saw some potentials in me - the way I handle my class for the first time ever AND, I did better than him in pass. Right! I am pretty sure about this. Other wise, he won't feel this uneasy. Am I right?

To be honest, by thinking in other perspectives made me appreciate myself more. This incident made me realize about people desperation to be on top of the world - what they tend to do to others. Some may step on others, while a little choose to do this the right way.

HOW TO DEAL WITH IT?

Other perspectives.

I must tell, this may lead to heart-ache. Even I did. I even cry to myself regarding the matter. But now, I found a solution about how to cope up with things like this. And it is, TO VIEW THINGS IN OTHER PERSPECTIVES! By perspectives, I really mean, many point of views. Try it! It maybe the second best medicine other than pray to Allah S.W.T.

Many other perspectives.

Not everybody have strength to do this. Some may just drown into their own tears and tend to run away from the reality - reality about how tough life is. For me, it's good to still stand and fight for myself for Barakah, even after few stepped really hard on me. My way of doing this is, TO VIEW THINGS IN OTHER PERSPECTIVES!

Try it. It works.

And, that is why I AM LIMITED EDITION!

This 22 years old girl is currently changing her goal in life. She's aiming for something higher yet clearer. But, whatever in life you aim to do, just do it with good intention, then Allah S.W.T will help too. InsyaAllah.

We all got one secret life.

As-salam =)

People may seems so fine on the outside, yet could be really different as you get to know them well. Or, in certain cases, you don't need to know them real well. The color will somehow glitz. As for somebody in early sweet 20th, 'secret life' is not so secret anymore, compared to one during the teen phase. Correct me if I am wrong, okay? I speak more to myself that I believe most people experienced almost the same things as I did. For me, life is not so secret. It's more to sacred. OK. Just today, I am not pointing about 'how sacred life can be', OR, anything about sacred.

A young adult like myself thought that, secret life in no secret to most of family members. Just, to some friends we might find not so compatible to be with - most of time. I categorize my friends to some stages, most of them. It's not my real intention to hide what am I doing, OR what exactly am I doing. It's just,

--something are better left unsaid--

It's better that way, to keep the warmness of the relationship between friends that as far as I know, friends tend to talk back once in a while. So, as an early prevention, I choose ti just shut.

The day is here

As-salam =)

Do you still remember how tough your teenage life is? I know I do. Sometimes, I have this guilty and some regrets towards what had happened. But, your pass life is what made you into what you are today. So, have some faiths in it. =)

It was a shock to know some of teenagers I knew are really having trouble finding themselves, even they seem fine to me, really! No rebellion, no nothing! And most of it, is about this something called L O V E ! Hmm.. LOVE may drove people to do crazy things, not just teenagers!

Cut wrist is one common solution teenager would do in order to 'solve' the problem. Ironic, isn't it? But, it's true! Cut wrist doesn't meaning cut the wrist off. No. Just cut for the bleed. Creating scars that some teenagers find it cool. Cool? I try to put myself in my teenage life again. And yes, cut wrist is cool... really! For stupid teenagers, yes! Level of stupidity? Unknown!

Bad in fluent!

But, to be honest, some teenagers find to be called as, 'stupid', 'bitch', 'hoe', 'hooker' and other names as a compliment. They love to be known as bad, or in this case, bad girl, so they would look cool and so up-to-date. My question is, up-to-date to what? Is cutting a trend now? No! So last season, dude! Even the grandma did it in her teenage life!

Family must really play their role in this kind of teenage's life. I don't decide how. Just, no babbling and no yelling, or even grounded. Please, grounded is not the way! Talk to them. Find a way to be their best friend. =)

I have one teenage sister whom I thought starting to struggle with the life. I am sorry for not being there for you. I made a mistake by not asking how your life been and how are everything. I am off to collage and rarely at home - once a month. I always thought of being a great sister is by not to stuck my nose into my sisters life. But, it's so not true! I must stuck inside yours to know how's everything going on, by being your friend first. I wish you could accept me as you friend.

So, first thing first. Here is a simple guide line about how to deal with a teenage daughter/sister. Works for me. Hope this will help you out.

1. Get known everybody in her life (the best if to meet them!)
2. Clarify the body movements - how she reacts when meeting or talks to the friends. Detect whose got her special treatment.
3. Dig about this male person secretly but not obviously.
4. Never use arguable tone when talks about him - she could thinks you hate him. And if you do, explain softly to her about why you dislike the guy.
5. Always make things clear - explain about what do you like and dislike about the relationship and your hope.

I was a wild child back then. I was rebellious, really! So, the list I made was a simple suggestion guide of what I hope the parents would do. BE HONEST is the key to everything. =)

How to be yourself?

As-salam =)

Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.

Being yourself is celebrating you, as an individual - learning to express yourself and be happy with who you are. For some people, it's learning to love yourself, for others, it's not hiding who you are or changing things about you to fit in. So read on to know how to express the inner you.

Steps

   1. Define yourself. You can't be yourself if you don't know, understand, and accept yourself first. It should be your primary goal to find this out. Try to take time to yourself and contemplate your life and choices. Try to think about what kind of things you would or wouldn't like to do, and act accordingly; finding out through trial and error helps more than you might think it does. You can even take personality tests, but be careful to only take what you want from them and not let them define you. Work on accepting mistakes and choices you've made; they're done and in the past, so there is no use crying over spilled milk.

   2. Stop caring about how people perceive you. The fact is, it really doesn't matter. It's impossible to be yourself when you're caught up in wondering "Do they think I'm funny? Does she think I'm fat? Do they think I'm stupid?" To be yourself, you've got to let go of these concerns and just let your behavior flow, with only your consideration of others as a filter — not their consideration of you. Besides, if you change yourself for one person or group, another person or group may not like you, and you could go around in a vicious cycle trying to please people; it's totally pointless in the end, and it leaves you exhausted. However, if someone you trust and respect critiques aspects of who you are, feel free to judge (honestly) whether or not it is accurate instead of accepting or dismissing the critique unconditionally.

   3. Be honest and open. What have you got to hide? We're all imperfect, growing, learning human beings. If you feel ashamed or insecure about any aspect of yourself — and you feel that you have to hide those parts of you, whether physically or emotionally — then you have to come to terms with that and learn to convert your so-called flaws into individualistic quirks. Be honest with yourself, but don't beat yourself up; apply this philosophy to others, as well. There is a difference between being critical and being honest; learn to watch the way you say things to yourself and others when being honest.

   4. Relax. Stop worrying about the worst that could happen, especially in social situations. So what if you fall flat on your face? Or get spinach stuck in your teeth? Learn to laugh at yourself both when it happens and afterwards. Turn it into a funny story that you can share with others. It lets them know that you're not perfect and makes you feel more at ease, too. It's also an attractive quality for someone to be able to laugh at themselves and not take themselves too seriously!

   5. Develop and express your individuality. Whether it's your sense of style, or even your manner of speaking, if your preferred way of doing something strays from the mainstream, then be proud of it... unless it's destructive to yourself or others. Be a character, not a type.

   6. Have a productive day. Accept that some days you're the pigeon, and that some days you are the statue. People might raise eyebrows and even make fun, but as long as you can shrug and say "Hey, that's just me" and leave it at that, people will ultimately respect you for it, and you'll respect yourself.

   7. Believe in who you are. If you're always working to be someone you're not, you'll never be a happy person. Be yourself and show the world you're proud of the way you are! Nobody knows you better than you and that's how it should be. You deserve to be your own best friend, so start trying to figure out how you can do that. If you had to hang out with yourself for a day, what is the most fun type of person you could be, while still being yourself? What is the best version of you? Believe in this idea and use that as your starting point. Love and accept yourself as you are now.

   8. Follow your own style. The common thing a lot of people do is copy other's actions because it seems like the better route to fit in, but really, shouldn't you stand out? Standing out is very hard, yes, but you need to try avoid assuming other people's perspectives of you. Even if it's not something you would normally do; that's what being yourself is all about. Maybe you like to sit outside on the deck under an umbrella in the middle of the rain, maybe you have different ideas of things, rather than other people, maybe you like strawberry cake instead of the common chocolate cake, whatever you are, accept it. Being different is absolutely beautiful and it attracts people to you.

Tips

    * There's a big difference between being yourself and being rude. You might have your opinions, dreams, and preferences, but so does everyone else. You shouldn't disrespect people who disagree with you; they have the privilege of being themselves just as you do. Conversely, don't agree with something you honestly don't think is right; just don't try to force your opinions on other people.

    * If fads or trends strike your fancy, don't avoid them! Being yourself is all about reflecting who you are inside in what you do, and what you like is what you like, no matter how trendy it is (or not trendy, for that matter)!

    * As the famous song goes, "Life's not worth a damn, until you can say 'I am what I am.' " When you can sincerely say it, you will know that you can be yourself.

    * If the people you care about are setting standards for you they are trying to change who you are.

    * Even if you are interested in something that doesn't interest most people, don't be afraid or hide it; stand up and show your true inner self. People will know how confident you are.

    * Don't worry about anything but being yourself and living life to the fullest!

    * If you have a habit that helps you escape your worries, e.g gaming or browsing the internet, stop going and face yourself and your insecurities.

    * In some cases, reducing Internet dependency might help you feel more "connected" to yourself. It may be easier to nurture your individuality without the perpetual distractions of the Internet. Try not going online for a while, and if this leads you to start feeling better about yourself, then you may want to consider replacing all the excess time you spend on the Internet with offline activities, such as hobbies or clubs.

    * Think about it this way: Being your weird, goofy self has some ups and downs. Some people might think you're weird, call you names behind your back, or laugh at you. But by far the majority of people will have the utmost respect for you because you are brave enough to stand up to these things. People want to make friends with people who have something special about them: whether they make them feel good, have a different sense of humor, or even something as simple as being a great cook. If everyone on the planet had the same attitude or personality, the world would be a boring place.

Warnings

    * It needs to be understood that "being yourself" does not have anything to do with forcing yourself to just do whatever you desire or pretending that you don't care how others perceive you. It is actually the process of listening to your inner feelings and maintaining personal integrity. If you are truly uncomfortable with your pimples or your size and that is impeding your self esteem, work on these things. If you are constantly getting angry and this makes you feel alienated, work on it.

    * Just because you don't care about how people perceive you doesn't mean you shouldn't be aware of it, especially in situations where being yourself might be misinterpreted. For example, you might enjoy being friendly and flirtatious, but in some cultures, that might be perceived as a sexual invitation, and you could get yourself in trouble.

    * Don't lose yourself when you're with other friends. Be yourself. Don't be someone else so other people will like you; in the end, you would end up hurting other people and losing yourself.
    * Don't think that being yourself means that you cannot change who you are. You want to be a person that you can be proud of, so if there is some way you can improve yourself, go for it. Don't allow your shortcomings to discourage you, but don't ignore them either.

    * Make sure that you can show the same "you" to everyone consistently. If you feel the need to be secretive about something wrong you've done, you are not really being yourself; it will show and misunderstandings will occur. Do what's right. You cannot truly be yourself unless you can face yourself.

    * Keep in mind that 'being yourself' is not always the right thing to do. Would you tell a despicable person to just be himself and not change a thing? No. Most of the time when people in general perceive you a certain way, it means you don't fit in to your society. Whether you want to fit in or not is up to you, but you are only setting yourself up for trouble when you neglect society's ways. (That is, unless you decide to live in a cave for the rest of your life.)

    * Nobody is perfect. However, if you are outrageously flawed (for example, have a short temper), then you should look into some self-improvement rather than ignoring everyone's cues and "being yourself." Don't deny yourself of the truth by saying it's everyone else's problem and not yours. You'll only be hurting yourself in the long run.

    * While you're being you, remember that "you" might have your flaws that might need to be changed, but only for the better (materialistic things/personality do not count, such as your favorite bag that everybody ridicules, or if you talk quietly). Goals and bad habits count. Say, you have bad acne and you've been stressing on it for a while. Don't say "well, 'I' have bad acne, and I want to be myself, so I'll give up on getting rid of it." Or if you have some bad habits, don't say "it's a part of me, that's the way it is," because you can still change yourself for the better and in ways which will make you grow.

    * Being yourself can be cool and can get people to notice you, but don't overdo it. Sometimes it's good to just go with the flow and not stick out like a sore thumb

    * Try not to mock people different to you; for all you know others could be making fun of you! Be better than them by setting an example.

    * Remember, everyone is showing you a mirror of yourself! You have 100% responsibility for yourself and your actions!

Tattion tab

As-salam =)

I think I have a issue here. I barely noticed that I've became a total freak about beauty. I obsessed about oral consumption. Yes, a total obsess! I found this pill - not a magic pill. Haha.

'Tattion Tablet'

For those who are interested, kindly read the benefits I listed below:

Benefits :
a) Improves pigmentation of the skin such as melasma, scars, improper
chemical peel and post chicken pox.
b) It helps the skin look smoother and achieve even color.
c) It is an anti oxidant and enhances liver function.
d) It also helps cure diseases of the eye such as disorder of eyeball tissues, cornea,
cataract and optic nerve.

Eye catching, isn't it? I've been searching for the range price and found nothing. I am eager to try one! Like, seriously! Don't you want a healthy, clear and glowing skin? I know I do. Here is the link to an online shop selling this Tattion Tab.

But, my advise, whenever we want to try something new, especially when it comes to oral consumption, do this simple guideline first:

  1. Check the ingredients
  2. Check self allergies
  3. Find more information about the products - the price, where to buy
  4. Read several testimonials
Seriously, it is important to always do this guideline. But, this is my kind of guideline whenever I look and browsing stuffs, especially when I browse and plan to buy something online. Feel free to add or remove the items on the guideline's list.

Happy reading =)

Today's topic: Acnes

As-salam =)

Happy Monday, everyone! I've been doing some reading on supplements. My concern these days is about my darkening+dry facial skin due to sun-burned. A friend of mine suggest this herbal supplements for acne skin. My problem is not really about acnes (well, not so serious, but bothers me sometimes!), just darkening and a bit scaly facial, especially around the nose.

She suggests,

Kordel's Herbal Anti-Acne

Personally, I really do interested in it! There are some other supplement products by usage, such as for detoxification, women's health, eye sight, joint and bone health, etc. Kindly click to this for further details about the products. I used to constantly take Evening Primrose Oil (EPO) bought at local pharmacies (not under the brand of Kordel's). EPO really do works for somebody who has never take and planning to take one. EPO works best to repair, strengthens and maintain hair and nails health, instead of letting or circulate a regular period flow and decrease period pain for women.

I am about to try this Kordel's, but still not deciding whether to go for an EPO  or just try this Anti-Acne. Hmm.. tough choice, huh? Oh, by the way, the range price is about RM50.00 - RM60.00 only. Very economical for a desperate person like myself. Seriously, hate seeing myself with this total major sun-burned+ dryness+pimples on the face.

Sigh! Its hard being a women, don't you think? Women always care about silly things! Even A pimple, they would scream to death and keep on applying acne cream over and over again. Haha. Maniac much! I, my ultimate choice to dry up pimples is my favourite acne product, OXY!

Image Detail

OXY - suits me best! My over-grown pimples dry up in just two days time, and just banished! Seriously, like not-a-joke! Yes, it is a bit expansive for 25g products, but like trust me, NOT EVEN A SCAR!
(Never poop-out pimples using nails and finger if you want to maintain a clear facial skin!)
Here are some useful tips to do before you 'scope-out' the pimples off the skin.
  1. Wash the face first
  2. Pour a hot boiling water on a bowl, and put some slices of lemon or 'limau kasturi'
  3. Steam the face - cover the head with a clean face towel (use to trap the steam)
It is important to softens and opened-up pores before you start the 'digging' process in order tominimize the skin injuries.

That's all for now. =)

Thanks for reading.

Six questions to ponder in choosing a life partner

As-salam, and a very good morning .. =)

This is actually not my write. Remember Dr. Ben Kim I mention earlier on the entry about how to make/cook a healthy omelette? Hah, here is what he shared with me on April 27th, 2011. Enjoy!

............................................

I've long felt that choosing a life partner should be a subject that is thoroughly discussed sometime in high school and perhaps even in university. It amazes me that so little time, if any, is given to considering this topic on a meaningful level in school. Near as I can tell, it's probably the single most important decision that all of us can make. My take is that most people who get married in modern society don't have the foresight and life experience needed to make the best possible choice. I'm sure that some people do think things out to a degree that would make Dr. Phil and Oprah proud, but from my little spot on the planet, it looks like most of us, myself included, rely mainly on our instincts to choose the one person we want to be with forever. And why wouldn't we? Society teaches us that love is what matters. Love is the only thing that matters. And what is love? Isn't it that special feeling that occupies your thoracic cavity and makes you feel blissfully alive? Well, here are some thoughts that I would like my loved ones to consider in choosing a life partner:

Do you like him?

To me, it's not about if you love him. It's if you actually like him.
The challenge is in knowing if what you are feeling is genuine like as opposed to fool's like, which I think is really just a symptom of being intoxicated with lust (which I don't have anything against - I just wouldn't recommend choosing a life partner with fool's like being a primary source of fuel to maintain a healthy relationship).
How do you know if you genuinely like and admire him? Ask yourself if you would want your child or future child to marry someone like him. And in answering this question, think about how he consistently behaves, not what he says.
As most of us know, feelings of "being in love" come and go. I wouldn't want to rely on such feelings to keep my life partnership healthy and intact. Much better, I think, to have a foundation of genuine like in place. Because ultimately, we want to spend our time with those we genuinely like.

Why do you like her?

Being drop dead gorgeous, having a trust fund, and taking good care of you are all weak reasons to like someone. They belong in the what she can do for mecategory, which includes the need-to-have-a-trophy-partner-by-my-side-so-that-I-feel-less-like-the-troll-that-lives-deep-within-me reason. Not a very solid foundation.
She can make you laugh your socks off? You admire the way she treats others, especially in instances when she is unaware that you are aware of what she is doing? She inspires you to strengthen your character? You respect her work ethic? Here and there, she blows you away with her thoughts? Now we're talking about some power fuel to sustain feelings of respect, genuine like, and even adoration for a lifetime.

Do you have the same basic attitudes and beliefs about religion?

Specifically, do both of you have about the same tolerance level for other people's beliefs? If not, think carefully about how this might affect the way that you feel about raising your children together.

Speaking of children...

Do both of you have similar feelings on having or not having children? If both of you want to have children, do you have a good inkling of what type of parent your partner would make?

Are you relatively clear on how much time you would like to spend with parents, siblings, relatives, and friends on both sides of your family?

If you're the type that would absolutely love having your parents in their golden years living next door or at least in the same town, I would suggest making this perfectly clear and asking your potential life partner to give this careful consideration and letting you know how it sits with him or her.
I imagine that very few life experiences can create more sorrow than not being able to spend time with your loved ones or, on the other side of the fence, being forced to spend time with people who make it clear through their behavior that they don't cherish you.

Do you have similar money values?

What do both of you like to spend your money on? Do you spend the bulk of your money on things or experiences? How much do you spend on items and experiences that aren't essential to your survival? How much do you like to save?
***
Those are the big ones for me. They're the issues that rise above the inevitable squabbles that accompany all life partnerships and float around in potential deal-breaker territory.
To be clear, if you just don't like who the other person is (not as obvious as you'd think or hope in the honeymoon phase), if you don't really laugh together, if you don't have the same basic attitudes about religion, having children, raising children, other family members, close friends, and money, you have one or more deal-breakers staring you in the face.
And people who genuinely care for you won't want to hear "but I love him." Because they'll be able to see what you can't see in the moment; that what you have isn't the kind of love that can sustain a healthy life partnership; it's something else that will probably make you want to punch yourself in the face a few times every day for the rest of your life beginning in the near future.
Okay, I'm getting carried away, but hopefully, my thoughts on this topic are clear. And for sure, they're just my thoughts, things that I hope my loved ones consider before they choose to get married, should they decide that marriage is for them.

..............................................................

It's pretty obvious that he's really good at this. Don't you think?
