1000 kali kebaikan dalam satu!

As-salam

Alhamdulillah, Allah S.W.T permudahkan urusanku menjadi 'ustazah'. Lancar sahaja lidah berbicara. Alhamdulillah, murid pun beri perhatian kepada bebelan aku. Hihi. Harap-harap tak adalah perkara yang tidak diingini. Bukan berharap kepada markah, tapi LillahiTaala. InshaAllah.

Bulan-bulan puasa ni rugi kalau bercakap perkara yang sia-sia kan? Tiada bulan lain selain bulan Ramadhan yang kita diberikan ganjaran gandaan pahala sehingga 1 000X! Kenapa kalau produk kolagen kalau kandungannya sehingga 1 000 000mg berharga RM150.00 kita beli? Kenapa pahala percuma kita tak amalkan? Pelik! Tapi itulah manusia. Doa, itu senjata orang Mukmin. Berdoalah supaya kita sentiasa Istiqamah dalam beribadat. Allah S.W.T Maha Besar, Maha Melihat, Maha Mendengar.

Aku sendiri merasa susah nak suaikan diri.

1 Syawal? Depa ni tak ada keluarga ke apa? Ternyata agenda 2 in 1. Melawat sambil melancong. Typikal, kan?

Allah Maha Mengetahui. Mungkin itu yang terbaik untuk kami. Aku redha. Sangat tak sabar menunggu detik bulan November! Awal bulan November, babah dijangka pulang ke Malaysia. InshaAllah :)

Babah (kanan): ZAINAL ABIDIN B. HJ M. SAID
Nak solat pun susah. Apakah kita masih lagi tidak bersyukur?

Memang betul orang cakap, orang kidal ni berfikiran jauh, luas dan mendalam. Ya, aku kidal. Kadang-kadang aku sendiri rasa rimas sebab terlalu banyak terfikir. Tapi, alhamdulillah, sebab aku banyak berfikirlah aku berada di tempat aku sekarang, dengan izin Allah S.W.T.

Salam Ramadhan :)

First of my final phase.

As-salam =)

Alhamdulillah, my day went perfectly smoothly fine. Except for the part where my friend and I also got hit today by a motorcyclist, while driving. You see, the kid's driving like a drunk guy that he suddenly turn right while I was speeding my car. He hit me, not hard, I can tell. So, I just drive my car just until I reached school. Then, I noticed some new scratches on side of the front bumper. Arrgghh! My car's already in bad shape. Lucky you drunk cyclist!

Overall, my day went just fine. There's one thing that thrilled me like crazy! I have my own desk! Aaauuu! So happy about it that I already imagine what am I going to do with it. I was thought about having some bottles filled with candies, asam jeruk and instant 3 in 1 coffee, since I get tired too easily. Haha. Dream much!

As for the day, I haven't got my schedule just yet. Maybe tomorrow. So, I just go filling up all the borang-borang, prepare another tajuk for my action research (A.R) since it's hard to conduct a gymnastics' lessons there. I don't know. From the conversation I had with one of the P.E's teachers, school don't have enough accommodation for gymnastics. No mattresses, no nothing. And I was like, are you kidding me? But if I insisted to go along with my gymnastics' lesson, I might have to figure out about how to overcome this. Maybe I'll have this consulted with the lecturers, especially about the gymnastics' part. Because, you know, safeties are the priority.

Overall, from what I've seen, I have this very supportive environment. Nice and comfortable! The teachers are the best, Insha Allah! They're nice, friendly and helpful. The GB's also very soft spoken. The students are very well-behaved. Not rude. They still have respects for teachers, and that's important.

I'll keep update about this, since this is the only way I found to distress me (without costing me any $$)! Since it's hard to find someone to really to talk to, this is the best medium just yet. Oh, and again, really excited about my desk! Maybe I'll have an update only to share about the personal desk. HAHA. Nerd much!

Until then, just keep on smiling =) And have faith. Insha Allah.

First impression.

As-salam =)

It's not like 'the first impression' is everything, but first impression may help us in gaining others respect. Believe me, when I first someone, I'll first look at how he/she dresses. No need to spend a fortune on a piece of cloth. The key is to be neat, and finish it off with 'confident'. And confident can be gain by straighten up your posture, walk straight, have an eye contact with people and don't even forget to smile. Easy right? Oh, and make-up skills are not included, okay?

Teaching, is a profession with personalities. Teachers gain respect by how he/she's doing the works, how he/she taking care of oneself and by how he/she mix around. My tips are not based on action research, or something. Just using my own logical thinking, based on my life's experiences.

I had repaired most of my mistakes from time to time. For example, I don't mix just enough with the teachers on my first phase of practicum. So, I cover it up by joining more on my second phase of practicum. That's how I learn. We get things right inch by inch. We won't succeed on the first try, okay? There're still something that need to be top-up. Do things slow, just don't loose the tempo, or might have to struggle more later. Honest.

Don't be too excited about being the best among the rest. Do something with Lillahi Taala. Insha Allah. He will always be there for us. He knew us better than we knew our self. Like, pray to Him more frequently. Whenever we have a free time, don't forget to do solat Dhuha. No need to put on just 'too much make-up' just to impress people. People will not judge you on how well you blend your make-up. In the end, it's always performance that people want to see and to judge you with.

So, let's use this one last day like there's no tomorrow. Make sure everything in order and packed before you go to sleep tonight. Remember, first impression is what things are about! You'll be motivated later. Oh, and don't forget to call up parents for their blessing and prays. Also important, y'all!

Insha Allah. This is our final phase, so let's do our best! Reach for the extended.

Thank you for giving back my strength.

As salam =)
Practicum is as busy as the bee. I am not feeling well these passed few days due to ear infection, plus the gastric and constipation. Nausea kind of my best buddy all week long. I've been to clinic. The doctor gave me some antibiotic, stomachache and constipation pills. But, it's not even close to this medicine, HUBBY #1 ! Haha.. we went out today to buy my ticket to KL next Friday, went to movie and supper. I ate a lot, like 3/4 of my bowl. It rarely happens, so considered like I eat a lot just now.

Fuh! Alhamdulillah. I am glad that I can finally feeling much better; healthier. I can't wait to finish my semester. All this hard works are making me so damn tired. All the dramas and scenes - even more tired. But, luckily dramas are over now. Some of it that happening now are not even Blockbuster, so I am glad.

Praying for all the goodness only for all of us. May Allah S.W.T bless the good deeds we did to the students. InsyaAllah.

What so limited edition?

As-salam =)

There is a mini-giveaway contest I've been thinking about lately. I've to write and create an entry about 'I AM LIMITED EDITION'! But, the thing is, I really don't know I am limited edition. I don't know where are my strengths, but spotted so many weaknesses about myself. I mean, these passed two weeks of practicum had been not so pleasant. Students did not fear me. I lost control on some of the classes, even the first class. You see, I am too worried about students not getting involve in every activities I made, so I keep on repeating orders; two, three times and sometimes more. Due to my action, the class keeps dragging and I did 'step in' other teacher's period. It was on my first week of practicum.  Chaos!

As for today, the lecturer came to observe. My fiance and I, we've been told about this and we did the best that we can. My observation starts first at 7.40 a.m until 8.40 a.m. Over all, she's happy with the way I control the class. Alhamdulillah.

But, I'd noticed that one of teachers there marked as ROF, he did went to see my lecturer to complaint about me. He squads down beside the table and tells tale about my dragging thing. End of lesson, my lecturer, fiance and I had a talk about improving the teaching skills, our strength and weaknesses. She did mention about ROF complaints about my behaviour. And I explained to her about what really happened and she's  okay with that. She even backs me up about it. She did mention about ROF being so unprofessional about this. Because, instead of confronting me, he ends up telling the fiance about it. He had his chance to talk me out about this but he never did.

I don't mind people complaint about me. It's good to helps me build up my teaching skills and the control towards my lesson. BUT,

  1. He's not coming directly to see me to talk about it.
  2. Yet, he ends up to see my lecturer  without even consult it with me.
  3. He's not a good teacher to begin with.
I've seen him teaching. He teaches with his feet up on the table, resting to the chair.

So, by seeing his way of teaching, then I must say, he's not the right person to judge me and file a complaint about me! Okay? I am pretty angry now. I planned to walk my students towards their class and meet him. Tekad!

Aku tak peduli kalau dia nak complain aku ni guru pelatih yang ego or what. Hell with it! 'cause he's not the right person to do so! With his sloppy looking, kemeja berlengan pendek, seluar slack yang dilipat bawah dan jambang  yang tak terurus, dia memang tak layak nak tegur aku. Komplain cukup kencang tapi diri sendiri tak tengok pulak!

Fullstop. Jarang aku marah tapi this time memang so HOT! Bukan dia yang nak menilai pengurusan kelas aku, so why should I scared of him? He has no reason to be respect!

Sulking cry baby

As-salam

Today is the worst day of my teaching experience. I had to deal with this 10 years old boy who claimed to be 4 years old. He sulks most of time. And the sour face on him has really turns me on. I yelled and threaten him, but in the end, I came up with a counselling idea. I talk to him about fitness and how to get fit. He's a bit uncomfortable when friends called him 'a cry baby' and 'fat'. He's not that fat. A little bit bulges and that's it! I asked about the family. As expected, he's the only child in the family. So, no wonder la he doesn't know how to tolerate with people. The father is a contractor while the mother works in a factory. From what I see, I think he came from one rich or at least stable family - extra money.

It is quite challenging to deal with this one kind of student. I asked teachers about this boy. It is one normal 'sulking scene' of him. I sort of make one deal with him. I promised to buy him a badminton racket and shuttlecock IF he behaves while my class. NO CRYING, NO SULKING & NO YELLING! If he happens to break the promise, I can make him sing in front of the class. We made 'pinky promise'. He agreed to my terms and conditions applied.

It's only my first week of practicum. I would love to see the improvements in him. And, I wished for him to be one better person. The world will be too tough for the cry baby. Already been too tough for me.

InsyaAllah.

One tiring teaching experience

As-salam =)

My day starts off with an co-curriculum activities. I choose handball as my game. Sort of a new game to me, but still, it goes out well. Alhamdulillah, even though the teachers there seem to not have plan about what to do and how to do it.

A real time begins at 8.40 a.m. I am handling a year four class consists of 35 students (26 boys and 9 girls). It's so hard to handle a bunch of students at one time. I thought I was being so fierce all the time, but when it comes to time for reflection, the teacher said, "You're too soft! Go with fierce or they will kick on you". She also remains me to shout more - voice seems so slow since the field is crowded with at least three classes.

It's okay. I am glad I made mistakes at my very first class. ^ ^

What I'd learnt about today's lesson? I knew better now that teaching is tiring. And, you need to eat to stay put through the rest of the day. Seriously, my hands shaking like hell. I am not nervous in handling class. It's just, I am so freaking tired. Lack of sleeps. Even the ccpp can't survive the day.

So, good luck on myself and friends. May Allah have bless on you. Pray hard for it. Pray hard for tomorrow.

Taking one big step.

As-salam =)

Image Detail

Clock strikes to 12.00am. It's officially the beginning of 18 Mac 2012. My fellow friends and I are taking one big step ahead of us and one step closer to be a teacher. I'll start teaching for one month at SK Seberang Jaya, Seberang Jaya, Pulau Pinang. It's like, the butterflies never show sign of leaving. I am so nervous and so damn excited at the same time. I don't know how to react. My pedagogy still need some repairs.

Oh God. Have mercy on me.

Everybody keeps writing about New Year

As-salam =)

It is officially 2012 now. And, seems like bloggers take this for granted to write about typical 'New Year resolutions', 'new hope', 'aims' and 'ambitions', like yawn! Are you really going to strive for that? Only about 20% people strove hard for it. Another 80% left without saying (not even realizing it at all - including me). Haha. What about that? I must say, the 80% are just being normal, for being easy to live a life; live life with no pressure.

I didn't really thought about resolutions. I have none to be specific. I just hope for the best, always. I pray to My God, Allah S.W.T for one better life, give me times to serve the parents, the family and all the people around me; to enlighten their days, provide them hopes and hands to hold on to. Insya-Allah. It's part of the job as a teacher.

2012 - Also will be a big year to my elder sister, FARHAH MARHAINI as she soon to be a wife to a man she knew for years, IMRAN IBRAHIM. Although the weeding is not yet to come, but bride is as busy as ever. Haha.

2012 - Is also one of my big year as I soon will start my practicum here at schools. I really nervous about facing these youngsters and really don't have the idea on how to communicate with the teachers. You see, I have these inferior complex deep inside myself. I am too afraid to not give people on what they need. I am too afraid to make mistakes now, even did I knew that ones learn from mistakes they made.

YayaQiestina as a teacher :p

Other than that big days, it is not totally decided. Allah S.W.T plan is not yet to come. So, praying for the best in life.

Insya-Allah =)

Payung bukan sahabat baik perempuan!

As-salam =)

Nanti pi skolah duk bawah payung jugak. Budak main netball, cikgu duk pakai kebaya sendat terjerit-jerit dari bawah payung!"

Hmm.. setiap kali dengar orang cakap macam tu, setiap kali tu la telinga aku panas, berdesing pun ada! Hello!

But, believe me or not, cikgu lelaki tu yang berpayung!

HAHAHAHA! HAHA!

Tak tipu punya! And of course la aku tak dapat sertakan gambar kat sini. Aku cuma pandang dari jauh. Alahai, sedap betul cikgu tu berteduh bawah payung! Aku dan mama kat sini dah macam udang celup garam dah. Tunggu masa aje nak dibakar! Cikgu lelaki tu senang-senang je lepas tanggungjawab dia kat budak-budak. Suruh budak-budak yang jadi pengadil, penjaga masa. Dia pula mengalahkan cikgu perempuan. Terjerit-jerit dari luar padang, pegang payung! Apa cer?

Sumpah lawak!

Masalahnya bukan cikgu spesis lembut pun. Cukup-cukuplah aku dengar ayat lazim tu. Dah naik bohsa sangat dah! Tolonglah cari modal lain. Dah basi!

Coaching or Courting?

As-salam =)

Coaching and courting is two different things. I believe most of people who coach can’t court well, at least not on the same time. I am an empire for today, for a closed netball game between four houses. The team player is a mixing students of 9, 10, 11 and 12 years old. I really do not know how to empire well, seriously. I always thought of what my coach said about courting a primary school game –

“Don’t minimise your skill level. If not, you somehow might forget to maximise it up. And they will never learn!”

But, in my case, my player are mostly 9 years old students and never been expose to the game – theirs first game. It is more likely a ‘tangkap muat’ game. Mom said that I really ‘cannot go’ into the game. I stood there and not confident about what and how to blow, what penalty should I give, where and when. Sigh! So much to learn!

Confident of courting, so out! Yes, I admit! I always have second thought. I am too afraid that I might not satisfy both teams. I am too afraid to make mistakes. There is an incident where I can clearly ‘stepping’ right in front of me, in my courting side. I was about to blow but the game is still on as they were passing around, almost enter the ‘goal zone’, so I thought of giving ‘advantage’ to the leading team, but suddenly a player shouted,

“Cikgu, dia gerak kaki! Cikgu, dia gerak kaki!”
I just blow – out load.
“Gerak kaki. Bola Merah”, I reply.

I was angry at myself and a bit of disappointment. I cannot apply the skill, the theory I learnt. I was shocked, confused, and afraid – mixing.

Me and my mom, we don’t compromise of where to court. She blows in my zone, and I sometimes blow in hers. Maybe she’s not confident of me courting and guarding the game? Well, she should be. I don’t really understand the rules, especially when it comes to positioning.
My mistake. I spent my whole night watching movies, online, blogging, browsing and read news rather than have my homework done – read the netball law book. Haha. I screwed myself up!

Well, this is what my first courting experience is like. Mistakes and lack of confident are common to newbie, like me. I wish that I could get some more opportunities to court a netball game. Below are some pictures during the game. Enjoy!

First game. My first courting.

On play. Contact from behind.

Counting the score.

Finale. Between Blue and Yellow team

Empiring a Netball game

As-salam =)

I had just finished my three days O-Level courting course. It is all about empiring and courting a netball game. The course consists of 20 contact hours of theory and 6 hours of practical. Believe it or not, this is my first time courting a netball game. And, I am so nervous! It is rather obvious that I startled on my first try. I keep telling myself about what to do, where to focus and w-s-f! And, on my second try, which is today, I did even worse! I can't even remember which team should take center-pass. Silly!

Netball is not new to me. I play since primary school at the age of 11. I was not good back then, but I slowly pick up skills and build some more. I can play but can't play well. To be honest, I don't think I can really excel the game. Seriously! I don't have the guts to compete in the game. A friend of mine, she advised me like twice or more to really be in the game, meaning give commitments - join exercise and tournament. I just can't follow.

If you ask me, either courting or coaching, which one will I pick? Then, I'll go for coaching instead. I can coach. I've been following and helping my mother coaching since 13 years old. I build myself confident from that. Yet, I can't really show my true colour here - IPG! Not even during Micro and Macro Teaching!

General skills build up - teamwork!

And let's the game begins!

These are some of pictures during SKKLT's netball training on Mac. I was there, helping my mom courting the game. I somehow do some coaching, especially on the warm-up thing, some stretching, and just it! I do more on the baby-sit job and this unpay duty - photographing!

Tomorrow, the mother asks and slightly force me to help her courting a netball game at her school. Even though this is just a closed tournament, I already feel the tense! Oh, my... Wish me luck, okay? I am totally nervous! And I can't barely sleep.

Haha. Nutcase!
